Guild Wars - Computer Error

Hey Guys.

I would just like to announce that I will not be able to access Guild Wars for a few days or so as for some reason it does not seem to want to load for me.

All it does is just stay at the "Connecting to ArenaNET" screen and does not load anything. I also am having kind of the same problem with Internet Explorer, it refuses to load any web pages, however FireFox seems to work fine as usual for me.

I am not sure what is wrong, I think it might be my Windows XP Theme, I am not sure, but I also cannot load Internet Pages in FireFox when I boot Ubuntu Linux (dual-boot with Windows).

If anyone is able to help me, please do so immediately!

Note: Shini, isn't this the same problem you are having with Guild Wars? Have you been able to fix it yet? If so, how did you do it, and what was wrong?

ya im kinda havin tha same prob basically, but 4 me everything but gw iz werkin 4 me, wut i did waz just change some firewall settingz and ajusted some thingz in my os

That's what they asked me to do, but I cannot as whenever I open up my FireWall now it freezes my computer.

Ironic, it's a FIREWall that FREEZES my computer up. :p

So basically, I have no protection. Oh well, it's not like I need it, I am not an idiot.

Hooray! Problem solved.

Turns out that I just needed to uninstall my FireWall; ZoneAlarm.

It all works again!
